When the size of an account is sufficient to utilize multiple investment managers, First Foundation Advisor clients may be candidates for our Investment Advisory Services' "Open Architecture" investment program. This program employs carefully selected independent investment managers or sub-advisors to invest assets in lieu of using pooled investment vehicles. Using an "open architecture" platform of separate account managers, other types of pooled investment vehicles and alternative investments, we seek to maximize after-tax returns commensurate with the client's time horizon and risk tolerance while maintaining independence and objectivity.

In qualifying for this First Foundation Advisors Investment Advisory service, clients receive world class investment options and individualized portfolio construction only available in an open architecture option platform. Enhanced reporting is also included a part of this service. With CTC's assistance we monitor and report on each manager's performance and provide clients with concise periodic reports consolidating the investments managed by multiple managers in one easy to read statement. These statements can also include non-financial assets like private equity or real estate, if so desired. We also provide clients with CTC co-branded in depth monthly and quarterly investment reports on the state of the markets, performance by asset classes and CTC's view of undervalued and overvalued asset classes.
