Alternative Family Governance ModelsFamilies that are successful over the generations share the characteristic of good governance and leadership. Leadership is essential to fulfill the responsibilities of managing shared assets, guiding the extended family's philanthropy, ensuring and perpetuating the family's continued emotional and social connections, and resolving potential conflicts that may arise within and amongst family groups. We understand and have worked with a wide range of alternative governance models and we use our experience to help families develop the most appropriate structure for their own family circumstances. We teach and mentor family members to work within the model they select, and provide such other assistance and support as may be requested. |
