Louis Abel has joined Irvine-based First Foundation Advisors as managing director. Abel is part of a team that will open a bank branch and advisory office for First Foundation in Pasadena. He previously served as senior vice president and senior portfolio manager with Bank of America Corp.'s U.S. Trust.
