First Foundation Advisors Hires Fixed Income Managing Director

First Foundation Advisors announced the hiring of Alan G. Remedios as managing director of fixed-income investments.

Remedios, who was hired Thursday, will run the company’s municipal bond portfolios and fixed-income strategies for both taxable and non-taxable clients.

He was a senior vice president and senior portfolio manager for City National Asset Management, a unit of City National Bank, where he worked since 1999. Before that, he worked for U.S. Trust Co. and Wells Fargo Asset Management.
