Roger Palley joined Irvine-based First Foundation Inc. as managing director of equity investments. In the 1980's, Palley and Chet Needelman started Palley-Needelman Asset Management, which for a time was the largest independent money manager in the county. Palley previously was a managing director in Newport Beach for New York-based Neuberger Berman Group LLC.
