Louis P. Abel, CFA, CAIA
Managing Director Mr. Abel is responsible for actively managing First Foundation’s investments and strategies for high net-worth individuals, families, pension plans, endowments and foundations. Mr. Abel has over two decades of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining First Foundation, he served as Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager with U.S. Trust in Los Angeles, and as Senior Portfolio Manager with Wells Fargo in Beverly Hills. Prior to Wells Fargo, Mr. Abel was a Senior Portfolio Manager with Husic Capital Management in San Francisco. Mr. Abel holds a Bachelors degree in economics from the University of California, San Diego. He earned his MBA in international finance from the Anderson School at UCLA graduating with honors.
