Rick Keller, CFP®
Rick Keller, CFP®, is Chief Executive Officer of First Foundation Advisors with over $1 billion under management. As a Certified Financial PlannerTM, Rick is a recognized leader in the field of investment advisors and was named by Worth Magazine (1996, 1997, 1998) as one of the best financial advisors in the country.
Rick is a Trustee of the University of California Irvine Foundation and is Vice Chair of the University of California Irvine Foundation Finance & Investment Committee. He was also selected to serve as consultant to the Investment Advisory Committee of The Regents of the University of California.
Rick is a member of the UCI Daniel G. Aldrich Society and the Planned Giving Forum and served eight years on its steering committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Orange County Performing Arts Center and serves on its Investment Committee. He serves as a Director of the Orange County Business Committee of the Arts and a member of the Pacific Symphony Planned Giving Steering Committee and the United Way Endowment Advisory Cabinet.
Mr. Keller has been selected by his peers to deliver a quarterly economic update for the Financial Planners Association of Orange County. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Orange County and previously won the best stock portfolio competition.
As former chairman and member of the City of Irvine's Investment Committee, former board member of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners of Orange County, former member of the Hoag Hospital Endowment Council, and former director of the Planned Giving Roundtable of Orange County, Rick is recognized for community involvement and professional leadership. In 1994, he was selected from among 4,300 investment managers to serve on the 17-member Schwab Advisory Board.
A graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in finance, Mr. Keller completed the financial planning program at the University of Southern California in 1984.
